After years of hands-on experience managing the construction of residential homes and working as an apprentice for engineering, surveying, and architectural firms, Michael Belt formed Dwelling Design in 2002. Belt has over 10 years of experience in construction, design, and engineering. He holds degrees in Civil Engineering, Computer Drafting and Design, and Business Administration, providing a foundation for sound business, design, and technical expertise.

The design team at Dwelling Design consists of Michael Belt, head of design. Ray Adams, drafter, with over 5 years in design and construction. Lynda Godfrey, office manager, experienced in both accounting and administration.

All play a key role in project development, assisting with conceptual design, rendering, modeling, drafting, detailing, and project coordination. As head of the design team Mike is mainly responsible for schematic design and design development. Ray's main responsibility is refining plans after design approval is received. The Dwelling Design team combines their collective experience and knowledge to create homes that fit the client's needs and exceed expectation.
